AMSTERDAM POGROM: LINKS BETWEEN AMSTERDAM MUSLIM COMMUNITY AND HAMAS TERRORIST GROUP

Samuel E

November 15, 2024

On November 7-8, 2024, multiple pro-palestinian groups, organizations and individuals took part in the Pogrom against Israelis and Jews.

All these groups are linked to Stichting Palestijnse Gemeenschap (PGNL), an organization that had Amin Abou Rashed as en Executive Member. Investigating Amin Abou Rashed, uncovered links to the Hamas terrorist organization.

CONNECTING THE DOTS: FROM AMSTERDAM TO GAZA

During and after the attacks, different groups based in the Netherlands where sharing content either promoting the attacks, or to provided legal assistance to arrested individuals. They all promote riots during the riot ban imposed by the police, and through their leaders are all linked to each other. All these groups are collaborators of the PGNL.

Group Sample:

@nojustice_nopeace.nl ; @br4palestine ; @newneighbours_utrecht ; @linksinhetnieuws ; @encampment.uu ; @free.palestine.nl ; @utrecht4palestine ; @week.4palestinenl

Some of these groups created fundraisers for Gaza, asking for donations and support. The groups share a lot identical contents, such as events or riots brochures, all tagging the PGNL.

These groups served mostly as a promoting platform for all the events in the region, however some individuals stood out, due to their roles and relations, some of them directly with a Hamas Leader.

Amin Abou Rashed

As mentionned before, he is the an Executive member of the PGNL, however his reach extends further than these regional groups. First of all, he has leaderships positions at the Al-Aqsa Foundation (Dutch) and the European Palestinian Conference (alawdah[.]eu), which is managed by the European Palestinian Media Center (epal.[.]nu).

As well, Amin Abou Rashed created the ISRAA Foundation, which is listed as an interest on OpenSanctions. In 2023 the FIOD (Fiscal Intelligence and Investigation Service) has arrested Amin Abou Rashed and his daughter on suspicion of channeling millions to organizations potentially linked to Hamas. They are believed to have facilitated this through the ISRAA foundation, which the Public Prosecution Service claims is a continuation of a previously banned foundation.

In the latest court hearing in early December 2023, it emerged that the suspicion now involves 11.7 million euros allegedly sent to organizations affiliated with Hamas. The ISRAA foundation came under additional scrutiny when Nazih R., reportedly a Hamas member according to German authorities, was arrested in the Netherlands; he was also a director of the ISRAA foundation, suggesting possible connections with Hamas.

A lawsuit against ISRAA luanched by Rabobank in 2021, allows us to confirm the suspicion. As said in the verdicts as a fact:

Additionally, recordings were shared where claims to receive 2 million euros annually in donations collected from mosques across the Netherlands. An undercover recording shows him handling a bag of cash, and the criminal investigation in the Netherlands also revealed that Abou Rashed’s phone contains WhatsApp contacts labeled with "Hamas." Additionally, in 2012, he was photographed with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

It is clear that Amin Abou Rashed is responsible for the transfer of millions of dollars of donations from The Netherlands towards the Gaza strip. His different positions, owned foundations and collaborators allows him to collect funds, and transfer them as “donations” to orphans, however, once inside Gaza, the money can be given to anyone, and because Amin Abou Rashed knows personally Ismail Haniyeh we can assume that the funds are redirected to Hamas.

Ahmad Nourallah

Ahmad Nourallah is a realtive/close friend of Amin Abou Rashed originally from the Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria and only recently has he arrived in The Netherlands. Also a photographer, he is said to be a potential successor to Amin Abou Rashed. Only recently has he arrived in The Netherlands

He is the Chairman of the Al-Wafaa Campaign, which also has ties with Hamas, as it is part of the ISRAA network of foundations.

Ahmed Skineh

Another prominent figure in the PGNL, Ahmed Skineh, has maintained close ties with Hamas official Amin Abu-Rashid and is active in multiple organizations linked to Hamas. These organizations, some of which are designated by Israel or recognized by European authorities as affiliated with Hamas, include the UK-based Palestinian Return Centre, the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad, and the European Palestinian Council for Political Relations, led by Majed al-Zeer, a Hamas official designated by the US.

The most prominent case involved the Holy Land Foundation (HLF), a charity designated as a terrorist organization by the United States in December 2001, shortly after the 9/11 attacks. After years of investigation, U.S. prosecutors uncovered HLF’s fundraising network for Hamas, primarily aimed at supporting martyrs and their families, illustrating Hamas' approach of gathering funds through front organizations.

He is listed on the board of directors of the European Palestinian Conference Institution alongside Amin Abou Rashed, confirming their tie.
